Paul McCartney and Wings - 'Give Ireland Back To The Irish / Give Ireland Back To The Irish (Version)'. R 5936
Paul McCartney and Wings 1972 UK 1st FACTORY SAMPLE DEMO of the 'Give Ireland Back To The Irish / Give Ireland Back To The Irish (Version)' 7" single. Offered here in stunning EXCELLENT+/MINT- condition and complete with the original and correct 'Wings' sleeve. Released on the 25th February 1972, these initial early factory sample pressings would have usually been given out to reviewers, radio stations or used as quality control within the pressing plant.
Released on the custom 'Apple Records' label it was Paul's first and only political song. The song was banned by the BBC here in the UK shortly after release due to it's outright political opinions. As such it charted very badly for Paul back in 1972 and is now a rare single to obtain. Offered here in truly remarkable condition which has seen virtually no play.

The vinyl is in EXCELLENT+/MINT- condition.
Both sides of the vinyl have been play tested with NO faults, sounds perfect.
Both labels are in EXCELLENT+.MINT- condition.
The sleeve is in EXCELLENT condition.
