PEGGY LEE - Black Coffee - UK 10" LP Brunswick LA 8629 - 1954 Matrix Nos: CA MG 3253-1B, CA MG 3254-1B
This is the original UK pressing of her famous album, released in 1954 with Ms Lee at her sultry best. The cover is laminated front and back and is in excellent condition with no writing, rips or tears. The front opening has distorted slightly as this happened with time, with covers that were laminated front and back. No ring wear but the lamination on the front has light bruising top right where maybe a sticker was removed. The silver and black labels are very clean with no writing but with spindle marks on both sides. The vinyl is in excellent condition with no scratches, sticks, jumps or warps. There is very light crackle on the lead-ins and run-outs and the odd light click here and there. Under a bright light, on side two, there is a ghost mark (see picture) which does not affect play.
