Description
Up for sale in this auction is a rare privately pressed Soul Jazz record from Penny Goodwin entitle,d "Portrait Of A Gemini". PRessed by Sidney Records, a label based in Milwaukee, WI as catalogue number S101 in 1974. This is a green label pressing and is an original. This is NOT a knock off or counterfeit copy. Vinyl is in VG shape with some light marks present. The worst of which is a scratch that causes some pops during the third track, "Rain Sometimes". The album plays through without skipping or endlessly looping. Jacket is in VG shape with some ballpoint pen writing on the back and some tape residue/tape affixed to the jacket. Some light ringwear, some edgewear and some corner stubbing present. Rated at VG. Seams are not split but have some wear. Very rare and hard to find original pressing!

- M Mint - Perfect in all ways.
- M- Mint Minus - Near perfect, most likely and unplayed record
- NM- Near Mint Minus - Extremely well cared for record. Probably a record that's been around for some years but extremely well looked after, but still not quite new enough to call Mint.
- VG++ Very Good Plus - As close to NM as it comes.
- VG+ Very Good Plus - Very close to like new with only superficial signs of use that do not affect playability. Only records stored and used with care will grade out to VG+.
- VG Very Good - A used, reasonable copy that plays. There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility of some light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still nice and playable.
- VG- Very Good Minus - A record with significant wear and marks. Records graded VG-usually have some noticeable surface noise.
- G+ Good Plus. 'Good' means pretty beat up. From here on down (Fair, Poor), we're talking about extremely beat up records.
