Perth County Conspiracy-s/t, CBC, LM 85, 1970.

Holy grail Canadian/broadcast radio-only acid folk/psych that predates the group’s Columbia Records of Canada long player and features unique recordings (three covers and strong original material) unavailable elsewhere. Pressed in low (approx. 100) quantities and only distributed to CBC radio stations in Canada (there was no commercial issue of the album and it wasn’t stocked at retail record stores at the time of production). Can’t imagine many more of these trading hands outside of deep collector circles or the odd vinyl vendor lucky enough to stumble across an elusive copy. The last online copy to surface was over a year ago ($547 US for a poor VG copy). Any which way, enjoy one of Canada’s most intriguing psychedelic artifacts w/ music to match. HEAVY vibrations.
