Perth County Conspiracy - Self Titled - Rare Folk Psych Grail - Canada only - CBC Radio Canada LM 85. One of the rarest and best psych/acid/folk albums to come out of Canada. Valued at $1500 by the Museum of Canadian Music. Almost impossible to find, and solid throughout. Essential. 

"CBC Transcription Radio Canada. 1970.  Canadian broadcast only LP. Only 250 copies are thought to be pressed. Does not share material with the other two albums on Columbia. 
These records were not available commercially at the time of their pressing, nor are they more readily available now. This album is now considered one of the holy grails of Canadian acid-folk among collectors." -  Discogs description*


Record grades visually at a glossy VG++, would grade closer to EX+ if not for a few small hairlines, and one needle drag on side two.
Side one plays a solid NM, bright and clear like new. Side two there is a slight background tick at times, around the area of the needle drag. This mark is not deep and I cannot feel it, but you can hear it slightly on my table, though it's not loud and does not overpower the music. A very enjoyable listen all the way through. 

Cover grades at VG+ with a touch of ring wear, general shelf wear and edge wear. Faint "CANADIAN" written on the back, as well as the track times have been corrected. This was likely done by the CBC radio station that had this record before I acquired it. No seam splits. Displays quite well for its age. 




Please note that I use The Record Collectors' Grading System, taken from the Rare Record Price Guide book. Very similar to Goldmine grading, but with a little more room for a tighter description. I may use + and - to give you a better idea of what you're buying. I always try to grade my records conservatively, please check my feedback to verify.
