Original 1970 U.K. first issue "no EMI box" stereo pressing released on the Harvest label SHVL 768.
Description :
Very rare and hard to find psych prog classic.
Pete Brown & Piblokto! were a British progressive rock band, active between 1969 and 1971, and formed by the former Cream lyricist Pete Brown, after he had been thrown out of his own band, Pete Brown and his Battered Ornaments, the day before they were due to support The Rolling Stones at Hyde Park. The original Piblokto! members were; Brown on vocals, Laurie Allan on drums, Jim Mullen on guitar, Roger Bunn on bass and Dave Thompson on organ.
Condition ~ Vinyl :
The super clean vinyl is in fantastic EXCELLENT condition with just the very faintest signs of use.
Audio Quality :
The sound quality is absolutely superb with virtually no background noise at all, hardly even a click or a pop. It's a sheer delight to listen to. Stunningly crisp and clear!!!
Condition ~ Sleeve :
The classic striking laminated gatefold sleeve is in overall great shape with just very faint wear and a fine 1.5" split at the top of the rear of the gatefold. The inside of the gatefold is fine also with just light wear and a small purple star stamped in the bottom right hand corner. Therefore VG++ condition.
Condition ~ Inner Sleeve :
Comes complete with the original Harvest poly-lined inner sleeve which is in excellent condition.
Condition ~ Labels :
Both labels are nice and clean showing only light spindle wear. No writing.
