Metal Box and Second Edition.

Released: November 1979  Febuary 1980

 

Bought by myself on the day of issue at  Virgin Records. Brighton store. When  Richard Branson  could of been behind the counter!

Metal Box  has no dents or damage. Whilst the standard tarnish has set in; it is in remarkable condition for the year. The item consists of three  12" Singles. Separation papers and an information sheet of  Lydon, Wobble, Levene and J.Lee and  D.Crowe.

 

Second Edition  was bought again at  Virgin (Brighton) on release day.

It has a gatefold cover with portraits of the band. A lyric sheet appears on the back. It has an additional instrumental version entitled  Graveyard. It also differs slightly by way of track listing.J.Lydon  used such a cover as a lyric sheet on The Whistle Test.

A rare and well stored, now classic work. These are passed on by a  PIL fanonly in need of space. We live in a tiny cottage next to a village  Post Office therefore I can post quickly following sale.
