SX 6258 Mono 1968 First Pressing with Gilmour mis-spelt as Gilmore on label and sleeve

The vinyl is visually VG- in bright light, it plays well without skips or sticking although there are light marks / scuffing / hairlines and a couple of small scratches. I’ve played it all the way through, in general the sound is strong and clear with some light crackle in some quiet sections / gaps. On side 1 I noted some soft clicks in the middle of “let there be more light” and the odd click / light crackle at the start of “set the controls” with 13 harsher clicks in the middle of the track (small scratch). On side 2 there’s some light crackle and a few ticks on the intro and a some clicks a couple of minutes in. Otherwise some crackle & the odd click in places and quite crackly right at the end but nothing too troublesome. Overall not for the audiophile but still an enjoyable listen of a true classic.
The sleeve is VG, it’s in decent shape overall with a couple of flaws. It is still bright and without staining or handwriting and free of serious damage. The spine is legible and there is light wear to edges and opening and some creasing to the front. On the front there’s a small tear with loss of print near the bottom edge to the right (pictured). On the bottom edge adjacent to the opening there is a small 1cm split.
Original inner is included, no splits.

The disc has been vacuum cleaned on my Pro-ject VC-S machine using Pro-ject’s own “wash-it” cleaning fluid which is alcohol free. After cleaning the disc has been stored in a brand new anti-static lined inner sleeve
Packaged in a Music max defenda box with stiffeners and with the disc / new inner removed from the sleeve.
