It is important that for any bidder wishing to have any item posted to Italy, I take no responsibility for postage  here as the postage in Italy seems to be very slow and unreliable, albums have taken over 8 week to arrive after posting. I now allow 21 days for items to arrive, if the item has not arrived by then I take no further responsabolity for the item at all.
I do not offer any refund for bidders here if the album has been claimed to not arrived.
Recorded delivery only track the album to the point of leaving the United Kingdome and no further.
I take returns & offer full refunds for item faults. but not for none arrival to Italy. These  terms only apply to Italy at the moment. I will [post to Italy but only at buyers own risk.

Original solid BLACK & SILVER COLUMBIA labels remain in excellent clean condition, No scuffing staining or unwanted names or writing.

No fading or staining, there are some very faint spindle marks under bright light

Visual Vinyl Condition:

Both sides of the vinyl are visually very shiny , with just a hint of very light marking from removal from the inner sleeve.

PLAY GRADING.

This entire single has been play graded and plays beautifully and without any problems no jumps, skidding or skips. Slight static on the lead in.

I grade this complete package excellent condition in line with the Rare Record Collectors Guide, who set this as the highest value Floyd single of all of them.

"Apples and Oranges" (released 1967) is the third U.K. single by Pink Floyd and the final one written by Syd Barrett. The B-side was "Paint Box" written by Richard Wright. The song is about a girl whom the narrator meets at the supermarket. It is one of a handful of songs by the Pink Floyd which deal directly with love.

The Pink Floyd, along with Barrett, mimed the song on their first US televised performance on American Bandstand. After Barrett was replaced by David Gilmour, the band recorded a promotional film in Belgium in a fruit market with Waters lip synching.

This was the group's first single that failed to break into the U.K. charts, and their U.S. label Tower Records issued a U.S.-only single instead: "Flaming" b/w "The Gnome" (Tower 378). Waters blamed the single's sales performance on Norman Smith: "'Apples and Oranges' was destroyed by the production. It's a fucking good song.

Both sides of the single were mixed in stereo, but the single was issued in mono. The stereo mix of "Paint Box" first appeared on the Relics compilation (1971), and both tracks appeared in stereo on the Masters of Rock compilation (1974). The other four early U.K. singles were issued in mono originally. "Arnold Layne", "See Emily Play", "It Would Be so Nice", and "Point Me at the Sky" only exist in mono or false stereo, while "Julia Dream" and possibly "Careful With That Axe, Eugene" were remixed for stereo at a later time, for inclusion on Relics. Mono and stereo mixes of "Apples and Oranges" and the mono mix of "Paint box" are included in the 40th Anniversary Deluxe Edition release of The Piper at the Gates of Dawn.

A full refund will be given if the buyer has a genuine problem with the item bought, that has not been mentioned in the description, and provided the item is returned within seven days of arrival to buyer with proof of delivery day.

If an item should be returned with proof of arrival date this can be  given by returning the item in it’s original packaging with the stamped postage label enclosed within.

Buyers failing to notify me of a problem within ONE week of item being delivered will not be eligible for consideration for a refund.

Buyers from outside the UK will have an extra week provided the buyer informs the seller within seven days of delivery.

Any later informed disputes must be taken up with E-Bay

Packaging.

The album and it’s outer sleeve will be separated when packaged to prevent damage to ether the vinyl or the sleeve, the vinyl will be placed into a new plain inner and the original inner will again be packed separately.

The complete package will then be placed into a plastic sleeve and then packed into a stiff card package and two stiffeners added.

The package will be clearly marked

FRAGILE PLEASE DO NOT BEND OR DROP.

Buyers address will be put on both sides of the package and also my own address just to be safe in case, god forbid the album was lost in the post.

(Up to now this has not happened)

Up to now none of my items have ever been returned with any complaints, and I do try to be as honest as possible with my descriptions and gratings.
