THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOON Picture Disc with Huge Poster
This rare picture disc is in excellent condition and for a bootleg the audio plays to a very high standard. Admittedly picture discs shouldn't be played, especially non official ones, but I couldn't resist! This release also comes with the very large 'Pyramid' poster that measures a very large 90cms by 60cms.
Pressed on extreme heavyweight vinyl I have inspected it under a strong light and I cannot detect any hairlines or marks such is the quality.
Picture discs should be owned for their novelty value and collectibility rather than their audio quality. However, on this one the audio plays with clarity and with only a hint of static here and there. There are a couple of pauses for about half a second on Side One but apart from that I was very impressed with the audio. 'Time' and 'Great Gig...' on Side One in particular play superbly well. Side Two plays with excellent audio throughout. A superior picture disc in my opinion.
