Matrix : SHVL 804 A3//B3 Issue : UK Complete Early Press
This is a UK press of 'Dark Side Of The Moon' by Pink Floyd. This early press is complete with the early A3/B3 matrix, original heavy vinyl, the 2 original 1st press stickers and the white border posters. It also comes complete with the matt factory sealed edge gatefold sleeve and the scarce polylined black inner sleeve.
The record is in Very Good+ condition. The vinyl has a stunning high gloss, with a number of very light hairline marks, these are from being removed. On playing the sound is extremely warm, vibrant and clear. There is a little noise at the start of 'Breathe' and some in 'Great Gig In The Sky,' but otherwise the sound is superb. The label is completely clean. The black is still solid and the silver text and blue triangle are vivid. There is only the slightest spindle wear. The record is complete with the polylined black inner sleeve.
The 2, 1st press matt stickers have not been peeled and are in Excellent condition. The posters are completely clean and are also in superb Excellent condition.
The sealed edge Garrod & Lofthouse gatefold sleeve is in Excellent condition. The black is bold, the colours are vivid and the white is wonderfully bright. The factory sealed edge is still completely intact and firm. There are just a little corner wear. The inside is sensational with sharp text and crisp sharp lyrics. The spine is still very firm and the whole cover is exceptionally solid.
