PINK FLOYD DARK SIDE OF THE MOON
Issue : UK ORIGINAL  PRESS       Label : HARVEST         Catalogue No : SHVL 804       Matrix : SHVL 802 A-3 / B-2
 

This is a UK early press of 'Dark Side Of The Moon' by Pink Floyd. This press is complete with the very early A3/B3 matrix, 2 original 'Fasprint' lined stickers and 2 white border posters. It also comes complete with the rare early Garrod & Lofthouse gatefold sleeve with a sealed front edge and the scarce original earliest black inner sleeve. 


The record is in Very Good condition. The vinyl has a superb gloss, there are no whitening of the grooves, just a couple of very light marks and a few wispy hairlines on both sides. The triangle label has bold black, vivid blue and only light spindle wear and a few spider marks. 


On playing there is just the occasional light background noise and a couple of clicks, but this does not spoil the enjoyment of the album. The sound is bold, vibrant and clear, with very good clarity and separation throughout.


The record is complete with the black inner sleeve in Excellent condition.


The 2 matt stickers have not been peeled and are bright and clean. They have firm edges, bright colours and are very solid.


The posters are completely clean, the white is bright, the colours are vivid and there is no discolouration. 


The early dark blue matt, sealed edge, Garrod & Lofthouse gatefold sleeve is in Very Good+ condition. The black is bold  and the rainbow colours are vivid. The triangle is sharp and the inside still looks superb. The front and back of the sleeve have a little light wear and there is some slight corner wear. Overall this sleeve is still very solid and the spine is firm.
