L'OCCHIO DIETRO LA PARETE OST Lp by PIPPO CARUSO. Original Italian pressing on the green Cinevox Label (MDF 33/112), from 1977. Italian soundtrack masterpiece and an inspired score for the cult thriller, L'Occhio Dietro La Parete. A film directed by Giuliano Petrelli starring Olga Bisera / John Phillip Law and Fernando Rey. Supernatural and bewitching themes mixing up Goblin influenced synth funk / psychedelic lounge with fragile piano / a superb bossa-esque theme and female scat reprise. Our soundclip opens with the Suspiria cum zombie horror funk sound of DISCOSSESSION. Lots of moody analogue sounds / hip hop beats and funky breaks. RICATTO BIOLOGICO is an incerdible piano trio theme with super-aggressive drumming and hip hop beats :) Shades of Caruso's Maladolescenza film music on here too but he replaces all the pastoral folk elements with sublime orchestrations and jazz piano creating a mood of forbidden love / death and decay. Rare OST Lp!!! Please see our other current auctions for the Goblin and Vince Tempera soundtrack, White " Pop " Jesus

Vinyl is in strong VG+ condition with light hairlines. Some light surface noises. The soft card sleeve is in VG+ condition overall with a section of wear and creasing to the middle open side. General corner and edge wear elsewhere. Ring wear marks from storage. Camera flash glare to sleeve and label photo.
