Description
Judging by the prices paid on Discogs for this I assume it's pretty rare. This copy, unfortunately, is a little beat. But the good news is that the raunchy garagey side is in better shape. The ballad side (Ride on a Magic Carpet) has light surface noise all through it, however I can't imagine anyone listening to it more than once. Excepting whoever first owned it and played it on a lousy portable player, messing up the grooves. They liked the ballad side and mostly left the good side alone, although it's a bit hard to tell with that gnarly fuzz guitar buzzing through the song and don't forget the manic laughter during the break.. Anyway, I'd say the Powered side is VG and the Carpet side VG-. The rockin' side is definitely listenable, at least until you get a better copy at $600-700 per. Notice the letters SM lighty written on the Carpet side (see picture 4). Shipping includes insurance.
