Description
Rare LEVI'S Salesman's Record 1968 FOR Levi Strauss & Co. in San Francisco. They had a groundbreaking campaign targeting the youth and used bands in their ads. Some of the bands were Jefferson Airplane, Sopwith Camel, PG&E, and West Coast Natural Gas. I don't know who are on these but as they were recorded in San Francisco, local musicians were probably used. They are different musical styles ranging from psychedelic to garage rock. The sound file has a short sample of each. The tracks are titled: STRETCH LEVI'S / ORIGINAL BLUE LEVI'S / LEVI SLIM FITS (WHITE LEVI'S) / LEVI'S STA-PREST SLACKS (CASUALS) / NUVO LEVI'S. VG- condition - it has a lot of lustre and clean labels but does have some noticable scuffs and scratches. Not a bad player that is fairly quiet with only an occasional tic. The sound file is from the 45 tracked at two grams. It includes a picture sleeve but not the best condition. The glue has come undone with some small tears, creasing, ringwear and light staining.
