Description

An original UK 1st issue from spring '66 - just a couple of months after 1st release in the UK. You can get seriously rare gold label copies from Xmas65, but I'd imagine they're super hard to track down in great condition. Matrix A/B. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original fully laminated cover. We have an original Emitex from the mid-sixties - I don't this is original to the release but looks smart.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In lovely condition having seen only light careful use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of slightest marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. As clean as they come - if you want that perfect all time show stopper...this could be the one to plug for.  All I could detect were a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated spots per side. Consistently clean - which is precisely what a serious collector will be after. Fantastic mid-sixties mono audio throughout. You'd have to go some just to equal this copy for audio. Highly recommended.
Cover (Ex-) In lovely condition with clean, and importantly, untarnished shiny surfaces. Flat and uncreased - front and back. A touch of faint ageing just creeping in at extremities on the rear - but overall very very tidy. Four pointy corners. Hardly any edge wear and sharp firm openings. Spine 100% intact - superb Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg) No splits. But aged a bit.
