Description
Artist :- PESKY GEE
Title :- Exclamation Mark
Label :- PYE
Catalogue :- NPL 18293 (A1/B1)
Year/Release :- 1969
Other Information :-
CONDITIONS :- PLEASE READ ON IMPORTANT :-
Side 1 has the main issue, with a very feelable scratch across the first track "Another Country". It appears about half way through the song causing a jump / skip at its deepest (towards the end of track), BUT IT DOES NOT STICK. Occasional pops and clicks throughout Side 1, but fairly clear sound.
Side 2 plays fine despite very noticeable scuff marks and scratches to the vinyl. Side 2 looks worse than Side 1 but sounds fairly clear with occasional pops and clicks. Side 2 does NOT jump, stick or skip.
The textured sleeve is just in fair condition with tare on the front from a sticker - see photos.
I've tried to highlight problems of the vinyl in the photos, but like I say if you can cope with just one skip and jump at the end of "Another Country" you could be ok with this copy until you find a better one.
WILL SHIP WORLDWIDE :- UK £3 / EU £7 / REST OF WORLD £10.
Record Collector Magazine's Grading Guide:
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.
