Description
To a good home only and from my personal collection. 3 vinyl pressing from the former leader of the legendary Van der Generator, Peter Hammill. I provide the following assessment of these albums:
1. Chameleon in the shadow of the night. The original 1973 pressing on Charisma label (CAS1067).
The gatefold sleeve is in excellent condition with very little wearing.
The album is also in excellent condition with no visible scratched or marks. The vinyl has a lovely shine and plays without any jumps or pops. In all round fantastic condition for it 41 years of age.
2. The silent corner and the empty stage. The original 1974 pressing on Charisma label (CAS1083).
The gatefold sleeve is in very good condition with slight sleeve wear on the edges, but nothing surprising for this 40 year old record. The album also come with the original inner lyric sleeve, which is in good condition.
The vinyl is in very good condition with some slightly visible marks. The album plays throughout without any pops or clicks.
3. Skin. This is the 1986 USA rare release on Enigma records. The release was licensed from Foundry Records, which is the most common copy of this album.
The sleeve is in overall excellent condition given that it is still in its protective seal with on the entrance to the sleeve showing slight sign of wearing.
The vinyl is in excellent condition with no visible scratches or marks. Plays without any clicks or pops.
