Description
Over the next few weeks I will be selling some of the best pieces from my collection. I have worked in the record industry since the 1960s, and as a teenage plugger for Decca in the mid-60s I witnessed the birth of many of these 45s, and received the earliest copies of them. Many are promos, and there are demos and acetates aplenty. Bands represented include the Beatles, the Stones, Bowie and others, as well as legendary psychedelic one-offs.

DESCRIPTION
On offer here is an original copy of one of the world's most sought-after 45s, which was only produced in a very limited edition as a giveaway to DJs.
CONDITION
The sleeve shows minor signs of age in the form of a few unobtrusive pale brown marks, but nothing major such as tears or writing.
The vinyl is clean and shiny with a few very minor marks. It plays through beautifully with no sticks or jumps.
The labels on both sides are clean and free of writing
PLEASE NOTE that the vinyl has a very minor warp, which does not affect play. It is reparable, but I don't propose to undertake the operation.
COMMENTS
'Whilst working as a promo man at Decca, I frequently found myself at the opposition's HQ -EMI! My pals there would give me their latest efforts and I would do likewise, hence the presence of this in my collection all these years later. My next encounter with the Pink Floyd was during my stint in LA in the mid-70s, when my cricket team played against theirs! The warp on this 45 may well have occurred when the IRA detonated their first bomb in the West End of London in the early 70s. My office was nearby and got hit. This 45 was one of a number in there at the time, and though many others were destroyed, this didn't!'
