Description

An original 1st issue on the UK Harvest label from 1971. Matrix A4/B3. Stampers 2PT/4PD. Please note labels are consistent with 1st issue and still mention 'Gramophone' in the perimeter text. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original Garrrod & Lofthouse textured [outside] gatefold sleeve. Also included is the original white patent nos. inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) In fantastic condition and has clearly only seen the lightest of use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of very light marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. And it is SO important with Floyd to find a clean playing copy - otherwise you will be left disappointed - believe me! The audio on offer on this copy is top-level and that is thank to a very high level of preservation. Interference is, thankfully, practically non-existent. We could detect more than a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated moments [e.g. momentarily before the wind right at the start of side 1]. It plays back nice and clean the whole way through and this is the only way you will truly get to appreciate the greatness of MEDDLE!
Cover (Ex) Again, a really difficult title to find in top condition, but this example defies all the odds. Lovely clean and unworn front and back. Barely a crease in fact. The interior is immaculate too - no issues at all. Edge wear is super light and the openings are still sharp. The spine is 100% intact - which is very unusual on this title. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity and would be hard to beat.
Inner (Ex) No splits and little ageing.
