Description

An original 1st issue of Meddle on UK Harvest from whilst charting. Matrix A3/B4. Stampers 1-AG/2-MR. "Gramophone" in the perimeter label text [which guarantees 1st issue on this title]. The vinyl comes housed in an original textured cover [only outside]. The left panel is sealed shut forming a solid opening panel. There's also an original Harvest inner from the time too. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) A well preserved original copy which has only seen light use. A couple of very slightest marks per side - but nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback with one very slight deviation. Intros and inbetweens are beautifully quiet and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. Just the sort of copy you want if you're looking for an unbeatable rendition with a perfectly clear background. This is incredibly difficult to find with a lot of the Floyd Lps, but occasionally one surfaces where someone's really taken tremendous care with it. All quiet sectors play very quiet. A few crackles in one isolated spot - midsection 'Echoes', and one isolated tick early in the same track. Highly recommended!
Cover (Vg+) I've graded down because there's a small scuff mark top left and top right on the front [no major problem]. Front and rear are otherwise really nice and flat with only minor surface wear. There's no creasing either. The interior looks superb with just light ageing as is difficult to avoid. Some very minor edge wear and nice firm openings. The spine is fully intact with all text legible - just very slight wear. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. 
Inner (Vg+) Light ageing. Bag present. No splits.
