Pink Floyd OZ Reissue OST LP More EX Columbia SCXO6346 ’71 Prog Psyche
Original 2nd press OZ LP released in the early 1970’s on the orange & Black Columbia Records Label. Cat: SCXO6346. Commissioned as a soundtrack to the seldom-seen French hippie movie of the same name, More was a Pink Floyd album in its own right, reaching the Top Ten in Britain. The group's atmospheric music was a natural for movies, but when assembled for record, these pieces were unavoidably a bit patchwork, ranging from folky ballads to fierce electronic instrumentals to incidental mood music. Several of the tracks are pleasantly inconsequential, but this record does include some strong compositions, especially "Cymbaline," "Green Is the Colour," and "The Nile Song."
Tracks : Cirrus minor/ The Nile song/ Crying song/ Up the Khyber/ Green is the colour/ Cymbaline/ Party sequence/ Main theme/ Ibiza bar/ More blues/ Quicksilver/ A Spanish piece/ Dramatic theme.
There are a few light spindle marks on labels. Record has some light scuff marks that cause a few light crackles and is in Excellent condition. Cover has light ring wear and some light water marks on top right corner and is in VG+ condition.
Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.
