Pink Floyd - Piper At The Gates Of Dawn (*Rare* Original UK Mono Vinyl LP 1st Pressing)
Rare original UK Mono release (SX 6157). Black label with blue Columbia lettering and a blue ''note'' logo. No "File under POPULAR: Pop Groups" on top right of back cover.
Front laminated flipback sleeve with grey back cover.The Vinyl is in Very Good condition. There are some surface marks and a few light scratches but the LP plays as excellent with some light crackles during some of the quieter passages of music. There is a small scratch at the beginning of track 5 Side 2 which produces some clicks.
The front laminated flipback sleeve is in Very Good+ condition. Mostly excellent with glossy laminate and an uncreased spine with clear, legible spine text. Both the top and bottom edges are clean and unmarked although there is a 1 cm split on the tip of the bottom right corner running from the sleeve opening. The back cover is clean with no marks or writing. There is some faint yellowing on the left side of the back cover.
Both labels are clean and unmarked.
Released in 1967 on Columbia Records Cat: SX 6157 Matrix numbers: XAX-3419-2 / XAX-3420-1.

Grading
I grade all my records using the Record Collector's Grading System which is as follows:
Mint - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
Excellent - The record shows signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
Very Good - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits discoloration etc.
Fair - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise: it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/ or defaced.
Poor - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
