Labels: NEAR MINT

An exceptional set bearing no more than 2/3 faint spindle trails around the side 2 centre hole, but none at all on side 1.

Visual: EXCELLENT +

Both playing surfaces of this barely played example are perfectly clean and retain all of their 'as new' deep-gloss factory shine. Only upon close examination directly beneath power halogen light are some ultra-fine micro-hairlines revealed, but nothing more to suggest that this copy has been out of it's cover more than a couple of times. Both sides of this high-quality pressing lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.

Sound Quality: EXCELLENT

Without doubt this pressing is THE best sounding source for this amazing album. Showing virtually no signs of play, this fine sounding example plays with a power and energy missing form any other version of this album on any format. Our careful play-check at volume detected no noticeable groove/play wear on any track. Some light vinyl background static is detectable in quieter passages and between tracks but we have never come across a copy on which this feature was not present. Indeed, apart from a few light ticks on 'Chapter 24' we did not find any other significiant audible distractions or faults on the entire LP.

Cover: EXCELLENT +

A highly respectable example with a super-clean, vibrant & unscratched high-gloss front panel.

The only traces of wear to the front are a single 'thumbnail' wrinkle near the opening edge a light wrinkle on Nick Mason's face and left arm.

There is minor bruising/wear to the tips of the upper corners but the lower ones are in great shape.

Apart from a single tiny 'push' to the front opening edge, both are sharp and totally unworn.

The exposed rear panel is perfectly clean & unblemished.

The only trace of previous ownership is the faint impression if the albums' catalogue number which was once written on the upper flipback (see below).

All flipbacks are in-place and unworn and both seams and the spine are in perfect condition.

Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
