Description
This is a rare original Columbia Uk demo by Pink Floyd. Songs are See Emily Play / The Scarecrow. Catalog number: Columbia DB8214 Matrix information side A: 7XCA 30214-1 1G KT Matrix information side B: 7XCA 30215-1 1G KT. Letters KT are embossed near the center hole. Condition: labels are both in near mint condition; very clean with no stickers and no writings. Both sides are visually in strong excellent(+) condition with NO scratches, NO marks or signs that can alter the quality of the sound. Under strong direct light you can only see a few hairlines that do not affect the sound; both sides are clean and shiny. Some people would easily grade this item as a Near Mint. However I prefer to use a strict grading! I have played (loud) both sides and they play beautifully with NO clicks, NO pops or other distortions. There is NO crackle at the beginning of See Emily Play even at the very beginning; The Scarecrow has a very very light crackle before the music starts. The record comes with an original Columbia green company sleeve. This is a very rare item especially in this amazing condition!!! Get it while you can!!! This item comes from a private collection of rare Uk demos and Pink Floyd singles that will be listed during the next few weeks. I have recently sold another copy of this rare single coming from this collection; however this is a much better copy and is the only one left I have!!!
