1967 UK **DEMONSTRATION COPY** 45

This very rare 1967 demonstration copy is on the UK green & white Columbia label DB 8214
Both labels carry the 'Brit (16.6.67)' text in the centre and 'Gramophone Co... rim texts
The 'KT' tax/price code is visible on the side one label
Housed in a plain red & white Columbia' sleeve
(Please note that there is no picture sleeve with this copy).

Matrix numbers: 7XCA 30241-1 & 7XCA 30215-1
Stamper numbers: 1/G & 1/G

CONDITION

Labels

EXCELLENT

Very clean with just some light spindle wear but no missing paper, writing or stickers present or removed.

Disc

Visual: VERY GOOD

The surfaces are clean but show many light hairlines. However there are no deep or feelable scratches or marks
There is a tiny mark on the extreme edge which covers the first 'run-in' groove, but the music is unaffected by this.
The disc also has a very slight warp which in no way affects play, even with a sensitive light-weighted tonearm.

Audio: VERY GOOD

'See Emily Play' has been played many times and some wear is audible although there is no major deterioration in sound quality.
'Scarecrow' sounds better and would grade VG+ alone.
There are no clicks, pops, jumps or repeats on either side.
