You are bidding on ONE scarce original signed black and white photograph, one original color photograph and one untouched commemorative long envelope first day cover produced in a limited edition by the US Postal Service New Orleans Station.
Included is what you see including BONUS: FREE pin:
1. One signed black and white photograph of Professor Longhair May, 4 1978 at Jazz Fest. (In free plastic cube frame.)
2. One "Official Commemorative Document" (stamped, first year of issue.) In perfect condition, never removed from holder. Purchased it at Jazz Fest.
3. One color original Photograph of Professor Longhair at Jazz Fest 1978. (I'm the amateur photographer of both pictures.)
4. One "Jazz Fest Special" pin button.
The Photos are one of a kind
Professor Longhair and New Orleans rhythm and blues fans are an exciting bunch of enthusiasts. I hope these find a great collector as there is NO RESERVE. I'm retired and simply have to raise cash. Ship day of payment. 3 FULL days return but you'll be very pleased.

I am the photographer who took this picture. I returned the next year to obtain Fess's autograph. I will sign the picture at buyer's request. Watch for more of m vintage, New Orleans photos. Compare to the legendary Michael P Smith

I saw Fess play many times back in those days and took my oldest son to the
'78 Fest for the first time. I guess I have lost all my old photo's from
then. I am glad you held on to yours. Thanks for sharing.
Tell your
bidders they are going to have to anti up much more if they want to beat my
bidding on these photo's. I have multiple copies of the cachet which is
also nice.
