This rare early press of Greatest Hits II is in stunning condition and is without doubt one of the best I have heard. I have played both vinyls and the sound quality is sublime. There is no background noise at all and they play almost as new if I'm honest. Even during the quieter sections ie the Spanish guitar section on 'Innuendo' and 'Who Wants To Live Forever' there is virtually no static. If you want near to Mint sound quality then this is the one to own :-)
Under a bright light I cannot detect any hairlines either and they have that glossy sheen of new vinyl. There is a little spindle wear but it is obvious the records have been hardly played. They play with a great clarity and have to be heard to be believed!
The gatefold cover still has that wonderful glossy look of a new cover and has the slightly raised embossed crest. It only has very minor wear the most noticeable of which is at the bottom of the spine where you can see some creasing. There is very slight wear on the top edge of the reverse side but apart from that it is in Near Mint condition. It still retains a superb strong wide spine and overall the edges are extremely clean as is the opening edge. It is probably one of the best gatefolds I have seen even with the absolute minimal shelf wear and as anyone knows this cover is notoriously found in poor condition.
The inner sleeves are in perfect condition with no marks or splits at all.
