This is the rare 1st press of ‘Queen II’ by Queen. It is complete with the very earliest YAX 4735 (corrected) 4U / YAX 4736 (corrected) 4U matrix. The vinyl is complete with the original lyric inner sleeve and laminated Garrod & Lofthouse gatefold sleeve.
The vinyl is in Very Good condition. It has a sensational gloss, there is no whitening or signs of heavy play at all. There are just a few light marks on both sides. The label is completely clean. The colour is solid and unworn, the text is sharp and there is light spindle wear. The original lyric inner sleeve is bright with clear lyrics. There is some edge and ring wear. This is the earliest 3 corner cut inner sleeve.
The vinyl lies completely flat on the turntable and from the moment it begins it sounds exceptionally rich and vibrant. Queen albums can be noisy, there are moments of light noise but the sound is still clear and bright.
The Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve is in Very Good condition. The black is bold, the image is sharp and the laminate has a sensational mirrored gloss. There is light corner and ring wear. The inside is crisp and the bright and the spine is firm with clear text.
