Queen were the epitome class when it came to rock music and their stage performances were always superb and memorable. And with front man, Freddie Mercury, a perfect show was always guaranteed. The band members complimented each other beautifully and between them they usually mesmerized the audience with their style and innovation Their music was good solid rock and this superb collection of most of their work is a joy to have and represents the work and genius of one of the finest rock supergroups on the planet. Queen had everything from showmanship to a terrific innovative style. And the early demise of Freddie Mercury left a huge hole in the world of quality rock music. This box set is a great historical record of the work of this iconic band.......all 14 albums,including Complete Vision , an album of material never pressed on vinyl before, and 11 studio albums, plus The Works and Live killers.It is a limited pressing with the low number :007748 and all albums are housed in beautifully embossed white sleeves and each one numbered.It also contains a great colour illustrated booklet which includes individual full page pics of each band member and front cover pics of all the albums contained in the box with full track listings and all the relevant detailed information. There is also a huge wall chart poster of a map of the world, highlighting all the places where Queen toured during their career from 1971 to 1985 .....to accompany the map is a Queen Tour Itinerary listing every venue and date Queen ever played , standard details of all catering requirements for Queens dressing room and similar requirements for the crew. Also includes plans of stage layout and all music accessories and furniture required on stage. Such information is probably of interest to only the most dedicated of Queen fans and that's what makes this box set a must have for such fans. The catalogue number is QB1, the vinyl is almost mint.....some albums having never been on a deck before.....the surfaces are pristine and spindle marks virtually non existent and all albums are first pressings....The box..... jet black with gold lettering..... is in perfect condition apart from a slight mark on the front. A brilliant example of an item that Queen fans will let slip at their peril.Copies of this are fast diminishing and any genuine fan will snap this up while the chance is still there.
