It’s amazing the depth of good songs they had other than just the singles.

The following vinyl lps were bought at time of there respective issue release. They’ve been stored for the last thirty years in a record box. They’ve not been played since storage. The following is a visual description of the vinyl. There all old vinyl so expect some crackles. Overview of each


A kind of magic. EMI EU3509.

Sleeve is in very good condition for its age no splits and minimal wear on edges inner sleeve excellent. Record looks like it’s got finger marks and could do with a good clean. See photos.

Hot Space EMI 1A 064-64773

Sleeve Aside from a small cut in bottom yellow square and a mild creased corner the sleeve is in good shape. A couple of foxing spots on the back. Inner sleeve looks very good. Vinyl shows some scratches on side one tracks 1 and 2 other than that looks good.

The Works. EMI. EMC 24-0014 1

The sleeve is in great shape but does have foxing on the cover. No splits very minimal wear. Inner is very good and vinyl look very good.

Sheer Heart attack. EMI EMC 3061

Sleeve look very good no splits. Very minimal wear. Inner sleeve has some foxing. Vinyl look very good no obvious signs of scratches a bit of a mark on track one might just need a clean.

Queen (fame issue) EMI FA 3040

Sleeve is excellent has minimal wear on corners inner sleeve is plain white a little foxing. Vinyl looks good only a couple of small marks.

Greatest hits

Sleeve has a bit more wear on the edges and corners but no splits. Inner sleeve has a bit of foxing Vinyl has a couple of marks but looks like it might just need a clean.

The Game. EMI EMA 795

The sleeve shows some wear on the cover think this is due to the type of cover being a mirror like finish. There’s also some foxing and a ring wear fr the record being stored in it. No splits. Inner is printed and has some foxing. Vinyl looks great a couple of minor marks but again might cure with a clean


All said they’ve been stored in a smoke house and I’ve not played them. Expect some crackles there getting on a bit.
