So, Queen fans and collectors alike will know what this is but "is this the real life is this just fantasy"? There are many sites on the internet where anyone can go and check the whys and wherefores as to the authenticity of this item. I am listing this item in good faith and in the belief that it is authentic. It is said that in the 80's the market was 'flooded' with bootlegs of this item. I had my copy already in the 70's. This item has the etched markings on the run out area of the vernier, I have taken close up pictures (as best I can with light) to show this. It also has the ridge approximately 1cm from the centre. The print is not blurred. However, some say the label should be glossy, this label is not glossy. I have not yet seen a glossy label. I do not remember being challenged by either Roger or Brian when this item was signed as to it being a bootleg copy. Also the signings were (a) maybe done at two different times which is why only Roger has signed the label and as you can see the pens are different OR (b) it could be the 'fan thing' where they used someone else's pen to signed your item, that happened a lot. I could of course have swapped out the 3 signatures and placed an alternative 'Queen' single in the cardboard sleeve but that would leave Rogers signature missing but that wouldn't be how I got it. This is how I have always had the item and how I have always enjoyed it. I am happy to answer any questions anyone has. You will see from other items I have sold that everything is from my personal collection. I know where they came from, I was there.
