VERY RARE - Official VIP attendee gift package from the 28th Annual Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony held on April 18, 2013 at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, California!

VIP Attendee gift bag includes:

*Very RARE 2013 Induction Ceremony program (8/12" x 12 1/2") IN MINT CONDITION (only opened pages for photos for this sale) featuring 80+ pages full of photos and bios of the inductees including RUSH, Heart, Public Enemy, Albert King, Randy Newman, Donna Summer, Lou Adler, and Quincy Jones;

* RARE Official Large (12"x18" approx.) thin metal Wall Plaque (similar to a license plate, but much larger);

*RARE and Unopened official RnR HoF 28th Anuual Induction Ceremony CD (no information on contents);

*RARE High quality Mint Condition Backpack by Imago, featuring beautifully embroidered logo of the 28th Annual Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony logo.  Backpack has several compartments - one large enough for laptop - and several zippered pockets.  The bag measures approximately 24"x12" and expands to more than 9".

This was the the first time since 1993 that the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony was held on the West Coast.

Special guests at the 28th Annual Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction included John Mayer and Gary Clark Jr., who performed for King, with Mayer giving the induction speech; 1998 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Don Henley, who inducted Randy Newman - and then joined Tom Petty, John Fogerty, and Jackson Browne performing with Newman; Jennifer Hudson, who performed in honor of Summer; Dave Grohl and Taylor Hawkins of the Foo Fighters inducted Rush, and then performed with them on stage.  The star-studded event also featured appearances by Tom Morello, Usher (who performed for Quincy Jones); Pearl Jam's Mike McCready and Jerry Cantrell of Alice In Chains (who performed with Heart); Spike Lee and Harry Belafonte, who paid tribute to Public Enemy; Carole King (who performed for Lou Adler); Chris Cornell, who inducted Heart and performed with them; and comedy legends Cheech & Chong presented Adler with his award.


For the first time in its history, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame offered fans the opportunity to officially participate in the induction selection process. The public was able to visit rockhall.com, hbo.com, CNN.com and rollingstone.com to cast votes for who they believe to be most deserving of induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The top five artists, as selected by the public, comprised a "fans' ballot" that was tallied along with the other ballots to choose the 2013 inductees.
