Description

RARE 1967 Original!!! the shaggs, "Wink", 33-1/3 vinyl LP. MCM 6311. Great Notre Dame garage band! Cover note on back reads; The fabulous Shaggs from Notre Dame, with their orgy of sound...from the practice sessions three years ago in the Farley Hall basement to their current fame...as the outstanding band on the campus and in the South Bend area...and running wild. Visually graded very good minus. Cover has light soiling and very very very minor edge wear. Valued in the 1999 edition of Jerry Osborne's Rockin' Records Price Guide at $1,000 to $2,000 in mint condition. See photos for songs selections on each label side. Members as follows; Geoff Gillette vocals and guitar, Ray Wheatley vocals and bass, Rick Medich vocals, Ted Poulos vocals and guitar, Franklin Krakowski drums. Producer, photographer and cover designer, Brian McMahon. Recorded at International Recording Studio, Chicago in a 20 hour session. Buyer pays $4 shipping plus insurance calculated at auction end.
