Up for auction is arguably the #3 Most Valuable/Collectible US Beatles record in existence at least as of 2007 according to our price guide gurus Perry Cox and Frank Daniels in their book (page 6)!!! Valued at $14,000 in Near Mint condition as of 2007, it cannot be stressed enough how rare this cover and vinyl LP is any condition!! Mine is not near mint but took me years to obtain...What we have is a VJ Records January 10, 1964 release of "Introducing the Beatles" is its VERSION ONE COLUMN BACK COVER with the songs Love Me Do and P.S. I Love You!!!!....Seems to be the most sought after of the "Introducing" VJ releases...I have loaded 12 pics for you to judge for your self this rarity...Cover: front has obvious storage wear mostly in the circular shape of where the record was stored therein (I promise I didn't do it); very faint name written in blue ink on top left corner; gray STEREOPHONIC print looks good with only minor wear; some minor creasing; and a dark spot on lower right, all easily seen in the pics...Back cover: some stains but the pics are better than my eyes because I can barely see them; the "T" and "R" of introducing has been ink repaired from a minor surface tear for the upper parts of the letters; the "side" print appears to have some ink partially written in, but the pics tell the story; Seams: check the pics: obvious wear but only a 1/2" split at top right at opening..approx 1/8 to 1/4" over flap in inside opening on top and bottom indicative of the originals..comes with original VJ inner dust sleeve in excellent condition...I grade the rare oval label vinyl as VG...still glossy but does have minor scratches and scuffing here and there on both sides... Labels a bit better at VG+ with some scratches but the pics tell you everything you need to know..machine stamped "audiomatrix" in trail off areas, also the final piece of authenticity of the vinyl...lets price the piece to sell with highest bid over $750 WINS!!! 3 day auction...Good Luck!!
