Description
RARE Canadian 45 from 1961 BY THE CHECKERS . Record is released on the BARRY label as number B3054X. Songs are "CHINOOK" and "STORMIN'" . Record is VG TO VG+. I played it through and it plays great with no skips or clicks and almost no background noise.
Labels show wear(see photo's).

The Checkers were a Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada group who formed in the early sixties. The band was mainly an instrumental group but did have some vocals
The group consisted of: lead guitarist, Denny Goshinmon, drummers Robbie Jeacock (and Rick Bell aka Belanger who went onto Five Man Electrical Band as their drummer), bassist Wes Kucheran, and rhythm guitarist Jerry Arnold. Gary Fabbi was also a one time member. These guys were very professional and put on a terrific show!! I'll never forget the black pants and red jackets!! I seem to recall blue jackets as well.
In their career they opened for the likes of Buddy Knox and became a house band in Ottawa, Ontario at "The Oak Door" where they backed Ray Peterson, Dickey Lee, Tommy Roe, Johnny Tillotson, and Bobby Curtola.

Mint = store stock new
Mint- = near new with only one or two small insignificant defects
VG++ = extremely nice. Would be Mint-, except for a couple of light scratches or scuffs, which do not affect play
VG+ = a nice, but used record that may have a series of light scuffs or scratches. It probably plays with a few pops, but has no serious problems.
VG = a well-used record that still sounds OK when played, but may have moderate surface noise, pops, etc.
VG- = a very well-worn record that plays through without skipping, but will do until a better copy comes along.
