Description
After more than 40 years of hunting and gathering, I have decided to sell off items from my Elton John collection, including rare vinyl LPs, 12” and 7” picture sleeve singles and other memorabilia. If you’re looking for it, I probably have it! Will consolidate shipping on similar items to save you money.
Up for auction is a rare TEST PRESSING 12” of “Empty Garden,” Elton’s touching tribute to his dear friend ex-Beatle John Lennon on his untimely passing. The record — which comes in a plan white sleeve — is in NM condition, with a few very light paper scuffs in the dead wax (which don’t affect play).
Included is a typewritten sheet with Bernie Taupin’s inimitable lyrics. The lyric sheet is in excellent condition (see photos).
