The Beatles - White Album 1st UK Stereo Press Complete with, die-cut black inner sleeves, poster, spacer & portraits. The labels have No ‘An EMI Recording’ on sides One and Two showing it to be a true 1st press. Number: 0454401. Great sounding records with low mothers/stampers.

Media (Play Tested): VG. Sits completely flat with no warping. Nice playing surface on all sides, retaining a nice sheen and sounds great with some light surface noise, during the quietest parts. The spindle holes are clean with little evidence of having been played. Surface marks prevent a higher grade that the sound deserves. Low mothers/stampers as you would expect from this pressing. Does not have ‘An EMI Recording’ on sides one and two.
Sleeve: VG+. Very low number: 0454401 Clean with some age discolouration. It has clean flip backs and good corners and sides. Some slight age wear at top loader. The number is clear and the embossed The Beatles has some laminate lift. A couple of small marks across both sides and the interior from wear and storage and a stain in the bottom corner. The spine is creased and has some laminate lift but ‘The Beatles’ and the Mono and Stereo catalogue numbers are fully readable. Has the ‘Stereo’ print to the rear that is clear and in great shape. Lovely.
Inner Sleeve/Poster/Photos/Spacer: VG+/EX+/EX+/G+ All original black inner sleeve are uncreased but with small wear at the die cuts and the opening edge, though the records have been stored in anti-static sleeves. The poster and portraits look like they have never left the sleeve. The spacer is stained and torn.
What can I say about this pressing, that you haven’t already read? I will just say that this is a great complete package.
