Description
You are bidding on the much sought after "Tribute" album by THE TEXAS SOUTHERN JAZZ ENSEMBLES. This is the last TSU JAZZ ENSEMBLE recording under the supervision of Ralph Hampton and features tenor sax solos from Arnett Cobb on two tracks, and a solo by Ronnie Laws (!) on "Ju-Ju Jones." Vocalist Anita Moore shines throughout and E.J. Leonard breaks out with some Leon Thomas-esque vocalising on "Black Roots." The vinyl is graded at a very solid VG+. The cover is still in its original shrink wrap with absolutely no seam splits and only very minor discoloration (see photos). This is on the ADVENT RECORDS label, catalog # 1001.
