"MAIL CALL" RADIO SHOW TRANSCRIPTION DISC. ONE COMPLETE 30 MINUTE RADIO PROGRAM ON THIS 16 INCH, VINYL, 33 1/3 RPM DISC. THIS DISC WAS ISSUED TO ARMED FORCES RADIO STATIONS FOR BROADCAST TO U. S. TROOPS DURING WORLD WAR TWO AND NOT AVAILABLE TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC. VERY RARE!
"Mail Call" Radio program #144 recorded May 9, 1945 starring RALPH EDWARDS, LUCILLE BALL, DINAH SHORE, & JACK HALEY
Program includes a very funny "Truth Or Consequences" skit featuring contestants from the audience who get to face the "consequences" with the celebrity guests - for example: one contestant has to call a friend and convince them that Lucille Ball is sitting on his lap - which she is! A very funny show!
Program was meant to be broadcast to servicemen overseas, Excellent World War Two Era nostalgic broadcast! Program is complete and 30 minutes
