Description

Meridian Hustlers, Queen City Square Dance/I'd Rather Stay out in the Rain (Paramount 3173) (1929).

The only record by this Mississippi stringband, and the only recordings of Mississippi stringband music made by Paramount. Fiddle, banjo, and guitar, with vocal on I'd Rather Stay.
V-. Some label damage, including the erasure of the catalog number on both sides. A noisy copy—but one of very few. (Only one has previously been advertised on eBay, in slightly worse condition.)
