Description
Firstly I am not a dealer. I am a private individual with a large collection of rock and roll memorabilia. My circumstances have been altered beyond my control and I have to break my own heart by breaking my beloved collection which I have meticulously collected over the past 35 years. I have looked after all items with a great deal of love and attention and I pray that all items that I part with go to worthy collectors who will lavish them with the love that they deserve. This is a quite unique opportunity to bid on something very special that only true Robert Plant/Led Zeppelin fans would know about. This item is a boxed book of photographs only published in 1993 it depicts an intimate account of Roberts life from the beginning of LZ up untill his early solo career in 1982. The photos in the book are by the reknown music photographer, Michael Randolf, who is known for his work in connection with The Doors, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin. He was also the official photographer on the film 'a clockwork orange'. Over the decade and more, Randolf had access to Robert and his family to give a very intimate account of his life. This is beautifully represented in this great quality book. Many of the photos are of Robert, his wife Maureen and his young children at home. Most of the photos are rare and most I have never seen anywhere else. The book is in its original box and has its brown paper liner on the cover which are both in great condition. The book itself is A1condition with no rips, bends or tears. The box and the book measure 12" x 12". What a great Xmas present this would make!! A certificate with the book certifies that the copy is 1179 of 1500 copies worldwide. A rare book indeed. This is an investment if not a great treasure. Post and packaging in the UK is £11.30.
