This is a very rare Velvet Underground double Vinyl LP - Once upon a Time

German double compilation LP first released in 1969

On Polydor Ref 2929086
Matrices state 1969 P 71 OK 00 2335046 S1 / 1969 P 71 OK 00 2335046 S2

I think this is a 71 pressing judging from the matrices

Im not letting the sleeve artwork escape without comment...

Gatefold sleeve depicts a robotic underwater lobster jettisoning its alien spaceship cargo onto a seabed of human skulls.
I cant think of anything more fitting for a velvets album. 
The inner sleeve advertises others in the equally disturbing series
....wierd scenes inside the goldmine ;)

Anyway - Sleeve is Nr Mint
