New & Sealed Audiophile Vinyl Record

Record Label: Classic Records/Mercury Living Presence SR90313

Classic Records 200 Gram QUIEX SV-P Vinyl.

One of the most sought after titles from the legendary Mercury "Living Presence" line because of it's incredible sonic qualities. Mercury revolutionized stereo with these groundbreaking recordings. The Classic Records reissue was produced, musically supervised and 3- to 2- channel conversion for LP by Wilma Cozart Fine.

On the TAS (The Absolute Sound) List of exceptional recordings.

Highly collectable release from audiophile label, Classic Records. This title was mastered by Classic Records at Half Speed from the original source master tapes. An all-analog, tube amplification process was used at every step. Classic Records used a proprietary vinyl that guaranteed virtually no surface noise and sonically superior dynamics.

Classic Records pride themselves for releasing each album with the original artwork, LP labels and any other materials which were included with original pressings.

Record is new and still sealed in it's original plastic sleeve. Perforation is completely intact. Corners are sharp, colors vibrant and spine is straight. There are no flaws or blemishes. 100% mint.

Review: Another stunning Mercury recording of a series of Ravel pieces including La Valse, Rapsodie Espagnole and Alborado Del Gracioso along with Ibert's "Escales". Conducted by Paul Paray, the Detroit Symphony are in great form and the result is another musically satisfying disc that will push even the best cartridge to it's limits. The dynamic contrasts are superb and the bass is earth shattering. The all-tube transfer was from the original three track master tapes mixed on site at Bernie Grundman Mastering, using an original Mercury Mixing console, by Wilma Cozart Fine. This is a record that every true audiophile should have in his or her collection.
