R.E.M. REM Radio Free Europe Hibtone 2nd Press Rare.
A rare opportunity to buy an original copy of R.E.M.'s debut single Radio Free Europe on the independent Hibtone label. This is the 2nd Press, indicated by having the Athens, Georgia address on the label.
This is a shelf filler as the condition could be better. There are several pops on the intro to Radio Free Europe but it plays well subsequent to the opening bars. There are a few noticeable scratches. Sitting Still sticks on the intro, but plays well subsequent to that. The condition and playback would inevitably improve with a professional clean.
The sleeve is notoriously flimsy and has some wear as a result including a significant seam split on the bottom edge.
Low start to reflect the condition.
Condition is Used. Dispatched with Royal Mail 1st Class.
