Hib-Tone Records (HT-0001) legendary 1981 45 rpm single first release from R.E.M. Tracks are: RADIO FREE EUROPE / SITTING STILL. These have become identified by first and second. The difference is that the firsts do not have an address on the label. There were about 600 of these which were sent out to radio stations etc. for promotion. The seconds which were about the same time did have the address and numbered about 6000 for public distribution. This is the second with address. The vinyl would visually grade a NM- with like new lustre and clean shiny labels with no wear. But...it does have a warp. You can see it when you put the needle down but it doesn't affect tracking or play. The sound clip provided is from the single tracked at two grams. The picture is sleeve is a nice NM- condition. These weren't the highest quality paper sleeves and are often yellowed, frayed at the top and exhibiting heavy ringwear. This just has a little light non-sharp creasing and if you put it under direct light with a magnifying glass, you may spot a hint of ringwear on the front.
