After 20 years of collecting, the time has come for me to sell my Beatles collection and let other collectors appreciate some of the records and memorabilia I've accumilated over the years. Please check out my other listings and remember to save me as a favourite seller, as every week I'll be listing more and more increasingly rare, collectible and desirable Beatles records!
Please be aware that all records are VISUALLY graded only - all grades are given based on how they appear under my desk lamp - since I do not own a record player. I cannot guarantee that discs will be click and skip free, although any marks and scratches that might possibly cause such problems will be highlighted clearly in the description.

This auction is for an original pressing of the children's album 'Scouse the Mouse' on the Polydor label (Unfortunately the LP does NOT come in its original cover). This also includes the original Scouse the Mouse book!
Scouse the Mouse was a children's album that told the story about a mouse called Scouse (played by Ringo Starr) who emigrates from Liverpool to America. The LP also features the talents of Adam Faith, who played Bonce the Mouse and sang "America (A Mouse's Dream)", and Barbara Dickson, who played Molly Jolly and sang "Sing a Song for the Tragopan" and "Passenger Pigeon". The LP also features Ben Chatterly, Lucy Pleasence and Rick Jones. The LP signalled the end of a 3 album contract with Ringo to Polydor.
Also included is the original copy of the accompanying book that told the story of Scouse the Mouse. Featuring beautiful illustrations by Gerald Potterton (who also worked on the Beatles animated film 'Yellow Submarine), this book is a wonderful companion to this rare and collectible record!
As I said above, the record does NOT come in its original sleeve and will be sent in a generic black card sleeve.

The book is in a beautiful condition for being both a children's book, and a book that's nearly 40 years old! The front and back cover both have a lovely, rich colour to them and no creasing, rips, tears or anything. The corners are sharp and uncreases. apart from page 14, that has a very small crease in the corner of the page, the rest and undamaged and unflat, with a couple just starting to show some light age spotting. But, overall, the book is looking excellent! Disc (Visually Graded Only!!) : G-

The playing surface has a really nice, crisp shine to it, but I've graded the condition so low because the disc has a lot of light scuffing along with some heavier looking marks and a couple of small scratches. There's one scratch mark on side 2 that runs through all tracks that's just about feelable with my fingernail.

The labels are clean, crisp and clear with a little, light spindlewear and a little whitening, as can be seen in the photos above..

All LPs will be mailed out in a strong, corrugated cardboard LP mailing box with the LP outside the sleeve. Extra sheets of corrugated cardboard will be used where applicable and FRAGILE tape used
