THE 1966 LP ON DECCA LABEL LK 4786 LABEL
SHADOW SLEEVE
This is an INCREDIBLY rare 1966 MONO pressing!!! IT IS VERY HARD TO FIND ORIGINAL PRESSINGS OF THIS LP!!!! MOST PRESSINGS THAT TURN UP ARE MUCH LATER PRESSINGS. The Cat. No is LK 4786 on the RED DECCA label and is a MONO pressing !!!! Any fan of theirs, or 60's rock music in general, will want to have this in their collection - especially in this condition!!!!
MATRIX NOS. XARL 7209 5B and XARL 7209 6A
This record is the EXTREMELY rare SHADOW variant on the front sleeve with the BOXED DECCA logo . Copies of this variant are incredibly hard to find these days.
The sleeve itself has NO writing NO Tears NO marks and NO writing on it either front or back.
The MEREST hint of ringwear (only seen in a certain light) and some VERY MINOR thumb creasing.The labels show signs of spindle marks. SO WHAT!!! Side one plays with only the MINIMAL amount of extraneous sound. I counted one MINOR pop. THAT's ALL!!! Side two has a little jump on track two which maybe could be eliminated with a bit more weight on the stylus!! but it hardly detracts from the overall sound of The Stones at the height of their powers in the mid-sixties!!!
This is the MASSIVELY rare SHADOW variant!!!
The spine is STRAIGHT and TRUE with NO wear to the lettering AT ALL!!! The opening razor sharp with NO feathering AT ALL!!! The cover must rate as at least EXCELLENT + !!!
