Description
This is the /Stones' first studio album from 1964. It's a 1st pressing revealed by the album cover, the record label and the matrix stamps. Beat Zenith.com Rolling Stones U.S. LP Label History states a 1st pressing of "England's Newest Hitmakers" has a box on the lower left front cover with "FREE full color photo of THE ROLLING STONES inside"(photo not included with this lp). The unboxed maroon London label is the first 100% U.S. pressing of the Stones' first four albums. The deadwax matrix machine stamps also show a 1st pressing: Side 1-ARL 6291 T1 Side 2-ARL 6292 T1. The album cover is VG+: no writing, no seam splits. There's some wear at the very top of the spine, a few nicks along the top of the front cover and seam, a little wear on the bottom left seam. Most of the front cover looks really good and the back cover looks nearly new. The vinyl is VG+: some superficial lines and light scuffing but no scratches, no writing on the label, some spindle marks and wear. The record retains a lot of its original gloss. Play tested with no skips and minimal surface noise. Classic 51 year old first pressing of the first album by THE GREATEST ROCK N ROLL BAND OF ALL TIME. Please email me with any questions and thanks for looking.
