THE ROLLING STONES
Rolling Stones-"Hot Rocks", a 2 LP set, London 2PS 606/7, released in 1971. One of the rarest Rolling Stones LP's in existence, this is the very scarce "Shelly" pressing with the alternate versions of "Brown Sugar" and "Wild Horses" unavailable anywhere else. Date in the dead wax on side 4 is 11-18-71, and "Shelly" appears in the dead wax on all four sides. Vinyl graded by Goldmine standards, is in strong VG+ condition, I confirmed that these are indeed the alternate mixes. Cover it is in VG+ condition. As word of these mixes circulated among Stones collectors, the scarcity of this LP only increased. A NM copy now books for $1000.00 in Goldmine. Includes the original London inner sleeves.

**RECORD GRADING**: SEALED:Record is still sealed, never opened. MINT: Should appear to be perfect in every way. It should appear to have just left the manufacturer without any handling. no scuffs, scratches, stains, or anything else! NEAR MINT: Appears mint, but has one 1 or 2 inconsequential flaws that do not affect the play of the record. The record should show no obvious signs of wear. An LP jacket should only have minor signs of wear-slight ring wear, minor denting to a corner, and writing on the cover and have no creases, folds, seam splits, or any other noticeable similar defect. VERY GOOD PLUS: Record will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. Record surfaces may show some slight signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience. Slight warps that do not affect sound are OK. The label may have some ring wear or discoloration, but it should be barely noticeable. The cover can have some wear from storage, but it should not affect the beauty of the artwork. VERY GOOD: Many of the defects found in a Vg+ record will be more pronounced in a VG disc. Surface noise will be evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during a song's intro and fade, but will not overpower the music otherwise. A VG record looks like it will have some audible surface noises when played, but it will not overwhelm the music or the overall listening experience. Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as will light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound. Labels may be marred by writing, ring wear, seam splits, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached. However, it will not have all of these problems at the same time, only two or three of them. GOOD:obvious scuffing and marking, but will play through with significant surface noise, pops, crackles, etc. Cover has heavier writing, worn label, obvious splits on sight. POOR:basically unplayable, but may still have some collectible or nostalgic value, cover is heavily damaged.
